Don’t get upset about evil people. Don’t be jealous of those who do wrong. They are like grass and other green plants that dry up quickly and then die. So, trust in the Lord and do good. Live on your land and be dependable. Enjoy serving the Lord, and he will give you whatever you ask for. Psalm 37:1-4 ERV.
Don’t fret; trust and delight in the Lord. These verses urge us not to be consumed by envy or anger toward those who seem to prosper by wrongdoing. Instead, we’re called to trust God, do good, and live faithfully, finding our deepest joy in Him, when we delight in the Lord, He shapes our desires and blesses our days.
Reminding myself:
Refuse comparison: when you feel jealous, turn that energy into prayer and service.
Act faithfully: choose one small, good thing to do today and do it with care.
Reorient your heart: practice delighting in God by thanking Him for one specific blessing.
Finding: joy in God aligns our desires with His will, leading to true happiness.
