Friendship Day was first proposed in 1958 in the North American state ‘Paraguay’ as the ‘International Friendship Day.
In 2011 UN General Assembly declared 30 July as an official ‘International Friendship Day. The UN proposed that friendship can inspire peace efforts between peoples, countries, cultures and individuals and can link up the communities.
International Day of Friendship is based on the importance of friendship as a noble and valuable sentiment in the lives of human beings across the world.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory for this new day. Guide me to those in need and to those who can assist them. I am believing healing for those who need Your guiding hand. Thank You that You have been loyal to me. This is the best gift. I’ve been dedicated to a number of things as You know. Cultivate in me true devotion, guide me through my hard work so I don’t overdo it, keep my spirit kind and direct me in Your ways always. Do everything you can to help Zenas the lawyer and Apollos with their trip. See that they are given everything they need. I know You, have the full control in every situation. Thank You that You protect, preserve and restore blessings. The Lord protects and preserves them, they are counted among the blessed in the land, he does not give them over to the desire of their foes. The Lord sustains them on their sickbed and restores them from their bed of illness. Psalm 41:2-3

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory for this new day to thank You for being with me always. I thank You and praise You for I am not alone ever. I believe that I would always invite You into every relationship in my life and seek Your wisdom and guidance in every decision I make. Help me not to seek after empty promises of this world that will leave me empty. I thank You and praise You that I can fill up on Your truth of Your promises in Your word that teaches me to walk right. I will keep my mind, eyes and light fixed on Jesus. I believe I will stand firm, stay true, resist the devil, maintain the unity of the spirit in a bond of peace that is in Your word. Guide Godly people to those who are alone and have no one. To encourage them and draw them closer to You in Your Precious Name Jesus Amen.

If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
Ecclesiastes 4:10-13

Help me to be patient, humble, gentle towards others needs and give the holy spirit their prayer requests so they will be blessed this day through Your gift of unity in all of us praying and bearing one another’s burdens and praises in love in Your Precious Name Jesus Amen.

As a prisoner for the LORD, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:1-3
