“Jesus Helps a Non-Jewish Woman”

Jesus went from there to the area of Tyre and Sidon.  A Canaanite woman from that area came out and began shouting, “Lord, Son of David, please help me! My daughter has a demon inside her, and she is suffering very much.” But Jesus did not answer her. So, the followers came to him and said, “Tell her to go away. She keeps crying out and will not leave us alone.” Jesus answered, “God sent me only to the lost people of Israel.” Then the woman came over to Jesus and bowed before him. She said, “Lord, help me!” He answered her with this saying: “It is not right to take the children’s bread and give it to the dogs.” The woman said, “Yes, Lord, but even the dogs eat the pieces of food that fall from their master’s table.” Then Jesus answered, “Woman, you have great faith! You will get what you asked for.” And right then the woman’s daughter was healed. Matthew 15:21-28 Easy:

Faith is sometimes tested by silence before it is affirmed. Humility does not weaken prayer; it sharpens it. God’s mercy is not limited by background, labels, or distance. Listening carefully to Jesus matters as much as speaking to Him.

Father God, teach us to trust You even when answers seem delayed. Give us faith that listens, waits, and holds on with humility. Help us believe that Your mercy reaches farther than we imagine. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

“The Crowd Seeks Jesus for Bread”

When the people found Jesus, they asked how He had arrived before them. Jesus explained that their search was motivated by a desire for physical food rather than spiritual understanding. He urged them instead to pursue the “food” that lasts for eternal life. When they requested a miraculous sign like Moses providing manna, Jesus clarified that the real bread comes from the Father. While the crowd was intent on getting more bread, Jesus offered something much greater, a fulfillment beyond physical needs. He encouraged them not to chase after temporary satisfaction but to seek what truly endures. Jesus refocused their desires, pointing out that the true gift from heaven isn’t just miracles or signs; it’s Himself. He alone satisfies the deepest hunger of the heart, offers unfailing life, and meets our most profound needs. The people wondered what actions were required, but Jesus told them it all came down to one thing: believe in the One sent by God. It’s not about striving or earning but simply trusting in the Bread that God provides.

It reads in John 6:25–34 Easy: The people found Jesus on the other side of the lake. They asked him, ‘Teacher, when did you arrive here?’ Jesus answered, ‘I tell you this: You saw me do miracles that show God’s power. But you are not looking for me because of that. No, you are looking for me because you ate the loaves. I gave you all the food that you needed. Do not work only for that kind of food. It soon becomes spoiled. Instead, work to get the food that continues for ever. That kind of food gives you life with God. The Son of Man will give this food to you. God, the Father, has given the Son authority to do this.’Then the people asked him, ‘How can we do the work that God wants us to do?’ Jesus answered, ‘You should believe in the one that God has sent to you. That is the work that God wants you to do.’ So then the people asked him, ‘What miracle will you do? Do one that shows that God has sent you. If we see that, we will believe in you. What will you do? Our ancestors ate manna in the wilderness. We know that it says in the Bible, “God gave bread to them from heaven for them to eat.”’ Jesus said to them, ‘I tell you this: It was not Moses who gave bread to you from heaven. No. It is my Father who gives to you the true bread from heaven. God’s bread is the one who comes down from heaven. He is the one who gives life to people in the world.’ So they said to him, ‘Sir, please give this bread to us now and always.’

Lord Jesus, turn my hunger toward You. Teach me to seek food that lasts forever. Help me believe, rest, and receive the life You give. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Precious Name Amen.

“The Crowd Looks For Jesus”

The crowd searched for Jesus where they last saw the miracle. When He wasn’t there, they crossed the sea to find Him. They were drawn by what He had done, but they were about to learn who He truly is. Sometimes faith begins with seeking answers, but it grows when we pursue Jesus Himself.

John 6:22-24 Easy: The crowd of people had stayed on the other side of the lake. The next day, they saw that the only boat had gone. They knew that Jesus’ disciples had taken it. They also knew that Jesus had not gone with his disciples. Other boats from Tiberias then arrived near to the place where all the people were. They had eaten the bread there after the Lord Jesus had thanked God for it. The crowd saw that neither Jesus nor his disciples were still there. So, they got into the boats and they went to Capernaum. They went there to look for Jesus.

Lord Jesus, help me seek You, not just Your blessings. Draw my heart to You alone. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Precious Name Amen.

“Jesus Walks On The Water”

When it was evening, Jesus’ disciples went down to the lake. They got into a boat and they started to sail towards Capernaum. It had become dark and Jesus still had not come to them. A very strong wind was blowing and the waves became dangerous.  The disciples were trying to move the boat through the water. When they had gone about six kilometres they saw Jesus. He was walking on the water and coming near to the boat. They were very afraid.  But Jesus said to them, ‘It is I. Do not be afraid.’ So, the disciples were happy to let Jesus get into the boat. Immediately, the boat came to the shore where they wanted to be. John 6:16-21 Easy.

These verses center on one quiet, powerful truth: Jesus comes to His people in the middle of fear, not after it passes. The disciples are doing exactly what they were told, crossing the sea, yet they find themselves battling darkness, wind, and waves. Jesus is not in the boat. From their perspective, they are alone, vulnerable, and making no progress. Then He comes. Not by calming the storm first. Not by calling out from the shore. But walking directly into chaos, over the very thing that threatens them. When they see Him, fear spikes, because even rescue can look frightening when we’re exhausted. And that’s when Jesus speaks one of the most tender lines in Scripture: “It is I; do not be afraid.” In the original language, “It is I” echoes God’s own name, I AM. Jesus isn’t just saying, “It’s me.” He’s saying, “The One who is with you is the One who always is.” The moment they receive Him into the boat, the journey ends. They arrive where they were going, not because the sea changed, but because His presence changed everything. Obedience does not prevent storms. Fear does not mean failure. Jesus does not wait for calm waters to come near. He steps onto the waves we cannot control and says, I am here.

Lord Jesus, when the night feels long and the wind is strong, help me recognize Your voice. Come into my fear, steady my heart, and carry me where I cannot go alone. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Precious Name Amen.

“Jesus Feeds More Than 5000”

Later, Jesus went across Lake Galilee (also known as Lake Tiberias). A great crowd of people followed him because they saw the miraculous signs he did in healing the sick.  Jesus went up on the side of the hill and sat there with his followers. It was almost the time for the Jewish Passover festival. Jesus looked up and saw a crowd of people coming toward him. He said to Philip, “Where can we buy enough bread for all these people to eat?” He asked Philip this question to test him. Jesus already knew what he planned to do. Philip answered, “We would all have to work a month to buy enough bread for each person here to have only a little piece!” Another follower there was Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter. Andrew said,  “Here is a boy with five loaves of barley bread and two little fish. But that is not enough for so many people.” Jesus said, “Tell everyone to sit down.” This was a place with a lot of grass, and about 5000 men sat down there. Jesus took the loaves of bread and gave thanks for them. Then he gave them to the people who were waiting to eat. He did the same with the fish. He gave them as much as they wanted. They all had plenty to eat. When they finished, Jesus said to his followers, “Gather the pieces of fish and bread that were not eaten. Don’t waste anything.”  So they gathered up the pieces that were left. The people had started eating with only five loaves of barley bread. But the followers filled twelve large baskets with the pieces of food that were left. The people saw this miraculous sign that Jesus did and said, “He must be the Prophet who is coming into the world.” Jesus knew that the people planned to come get him and make him their king. So, he left and went into the hills alone. John 6:1-15 Easy

This is the moment when Jesus feeds the multitude, not with abundance already in hand, but with what looks painfully insufficient. A crowd is hungry. The disciples see the lack. Jesus sees an opportunity for trust. Philip calculates. Andrew hesitates. A boy offers what he has, five loaves and two fish, small enough to seem almost embarrassing against the need. Yet Jesus receives it without comment, without correction, without asking for more. He gives thanks. He breaks the bread. And somehow, everyone eats. Not just a little, but until they are filled. What stands out is that Jesus doesn’t create food instead of what’s offered. He multiplies what’s placed in His hands. The miracle begins with willingness, not adequacy. And when it’s over, nothing is wasted. Twelve baskets remain, a quiet reminder that when Jesus provides, He does so with care, order, and intention. These verse’s suggest that Jesus possesses foreknowledge of his actions, even when others may not. Seemingly minor offerings are noted to hold significance in his perspective. The text highlights the importance of gratitude preceding abundance and affirms that contributions made to Christ are never meaningless. There is recognition that he addresses both physical needs and underlying spiritual hunger. Although the crowd sought to make him king following these events, Jesus chose to withdraw, indicating his focus was on being trusted for his identity rather than celebrated solely for his works. Ultimately, the passage encourages individuals to offer their resources, regardless of limitations, with sincerity, trusting that they may be transformed beyond expectation. Such occurrences are characterized as subtle yet profound miracles that continue to manifest in daily life.

Father God, we place what little we have into Your hands. Bless it, multiply it, and feed every need. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

“Life Returned at His Word”

While Jesus was still speaking, someone came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue leader. “Your daughter is dead,” he said. “Don’t bother the teacher anymore.” Hearing this, Jesus said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.” When he arrived at the house of Jairus, he did not let anyone go in with him except Peter, John and James, and the child’s father and mother. Meanwhile, all the people were wailing and mourning for her. “Stop wailing,” Jesus said. “She is not dead but asleep.”They laughed at him, knowing that she was dead. But he took her by the hand and said, “My child, get up!” Her spirit returned, and at once she stood up. Then Jesus told them to give her something to eat. Her parents were astonished, but he ordered them not to tell anyone what had happened. Luke 8:49-56 NIV

These verses are quiet, but it is powerful. Jesus does not shout. He does not rush. Life returns gently. Her spirit comes back, not with spectacle, but with obedience to His voice. She rises immediately, and then Jesus does something tender and practical: He asks that she be given food. Resurrection is not only miraculous but also caring. He restores her fully, body and soul. This moment reminds us that when Jesus brings life, He also attends to what comes next. He knows what the restored need.

Lord Jesus, You speak, and life returns. Restore what has been lost and tend to us with Your gentle care. Help us rise in Your strength and receive all that You provide. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Precious Name Amen.

“Faith Has Healed You”

Luke 8:43-48 NIV: And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years, but no one could heal her. She came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped. “Who touched me?” Jesus asked. When they all denied it, Peter said, “Master, the people are crowding and pressing against you.” But Jesus said, “Someone touched me; I know that power has gone out from me.” Then the woman, seeing that she could not go unnoticed, came trembling and fell at his feet. In the presence of all the people, she told why she had touched him and how she had been instantly healed. Then he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace.”

She did not speak. She did not ask. She reached. After twelve years of suffering, this woman comes quietly through the crowd, believing that even the edge of Jesus’ garment carries healing. Her faith is not loud or demanding, it is intentional. She trusts that being near Him is enough. The moment she touches Him, the flow stops. Healing is immediate. What had drained her strength for years is halted in an instant, not by spectacle, but by faith. Jesus notices. Not because He needs to ask who touched Him, but because faith always draws His attention. What was hidden is now seen. What was weak is now whole. Light gathers at the point where her fingers meet the cloth, subtle, not glowing, just enough to suggest movement and life. No faces meet. No words are spoken. Faith is shown in the smallest motion.

Lord Jesus, teach us to reach for You with quiet faith. When words fail and strength feels small, remind us that Your presence is enough. Heal what has lingered too long, restore what has been drained, and let us know that You see us, even in the crowd. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Precious Name Amen.

“Cost of Freedom”

“And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea.” Mark 5:13 KJV

When Jesus gives permission, what has tormented must leave. The spirits rush out violently, not because the man is lost, but because deliverance is decisive. What once occupied him has no place to remain. The destruction happens away from the man, not within him. This verse reminds us that freedom may look dramatic, even costly, but restoration is always gentle. Jesus does not negotiate with what harms us. He removes it completely and leaves us whole. The man is no longer defined by what bound him. He is seated, clothed, and restored. What could not stay is gone.

Father God, praise You and thank You for Your authority to remove what does not belong in us. Where fear, bondage, or torment once lived, speak Your freedom and peace. Help us trust that when You deliver, You do so fully and with purpose. Leave us restored, whole, and at rest in You. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

“Jesus Brings Calm”

“And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.” Matthew 8:26 KJV

This moment is not just about a storm on the water, it’s about the storm inside the disciples. Jesus does not scold them for waking Him; He addresses their fear. His presence was never absent, even while He slept. The calm comes after His question. Faith is not the absence of storms, but the trust that Christ is still Lord while they rage.

Lord Jesus, when fear rises and the waves feel close, remind us that You are already in the boat. Speak Your peace into our hearts, and teach us to trust You, even before the calm comes. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Precious Name Amen.

“Nothing, nothing but love.”

You may think, at times, that the world is fatal
That all just dies, and drifts, and slowly fades away.
That these lives we slave for now,
Mean nothing to the end.

I am here to tell you, little person inside,
That though you grow outside-
You remain you.
That while others will thrive,
With masks to survive,

You alone, shall be you.

I have seen the way you mark people,
They excite in your art,
Art of unique originality,
And art in love.

Do not keep seeking, instead, be sought.
You spend your whole life searching for what’s naught.
These walls you channel are set bound in stone.
You must find those who will tear down your heart,
Tear down your sorry heart,
To find some love.

Love, it may so happen,
Love, it works, I tell you.
Never stop saying, as you always be saying, never give up!
“Nothing, nothing but love.”
