But Samuel served the Lord. He was a helper who wore the linen ephod. 1 Samuel 2:18 ERV:

Samuel was still a child, he faithfully served God in the sanctuary. His linen ephod showed that he had been set apart for sacred service. His obedience stood in sharp contrast to Eli’s sons, who were dishonoring God. You are never too young, too small, or too unnoticed to serve the Lord. God sees a faithful heart and can prepare someone through simple acts of obedience for a greater purpose. It doesn’t take a grown person to do things for the Lord. He has been able to accomplish a lot more in the lives of many children than in the lives of their parents. A little child will lead them. Isaiah 11:6

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, give me a faithful and humble heart like Samuel. Help me serve You wherever You place me, even when others choose to do wrong. May my life honor You in everything I do. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Mighty Precious Name Lord Jesus Amen.
