“Altogether Beautiful”

You are altogether beautiful,
Not a single seam left wanting,
Not a fragment of light misplaced.
Your edges hold stories; your silence keeps grace.

There is a hush in the way you enter a room,
A steadiness that steadies others;
Your laughter stitches open places,
Your sorrow teaches tenderness.

Skin and scar and memory together sing,
A whole made of small mercies and fierce truth.
Beloved, you are more than surface:
You are depth, you are home, you are yes.

“God Looks At The Heart”

1 Samuel 16:7 Easy: But the Lord said to Samuel, “Eliab is tall and handsome, but don’t judge by things like that. God doesn’t look at what people see. People judge by what is on the outside, but the Lord looks at the heart. Eliab is not the right man.”

In this verse God corrects Samuel during the search for Israel’s next king: Samuel assumes Eliab is the obvious choice because of his appearance, but God rejects that criterion and points to the heart as the true measure. The immediate context is the anointing of David, the youngest son who was tending sheep and overlooked by human standards. When Samuel was ready to choose a king, he looked at outward signs, height, presence, appearance, but God looked deeper. God values the heart: motives, faith, and character. David’s anointing reminds us that God’s priorities often run opposite to human first impressions; what matters most is who we are inwardly and how we respond to God’s call.

Father God, thank You that You see me fully and love me for who I am inside. Help me to value what You value: a humble, faithful, and obedient heart. Remove pride and pretense from my life and give me the courage to grow where You are shaping me. Teach me to look beyond appearances so I may love others as You do. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious name, amen.

“Fearfully & Wonderfully Made”

A reminder that God values and designs us, affirming intrinsic worth and beauty because we are God’s workmanship.

Psalm 139:13–14 Easy: You made every part of me. You made me grow inside my mother before I was born. I thank you for the wonderful way that you have made me. Everything that you do is wonderful! I know it is true.

Father, thank You for knitting me together and for making me fearfully and wonderfully; help me to see Your hand in every part of my life. Fill me with gratitude, strengthen my heart to live in Your truth, and guide my steps so I may honor the gift of who I am. Amen.

“Worth Beyond Beauty”

Grace and beauty can fool you, but a woman who respects the Lord should be praised. Proverbs 31:30 Easy:

Father God, help me see and cultivate the beauty You value, gentleness, humility, and a heart that trusts You. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

“Beauty From Within”

It is not fancy hair, gold jewelry, or fine clothes that should make you beautiful.  No, your beauty should come from inside you, the beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit. That beauty will never disappear. It is worth very much to God. 1 Peter 3:3-4 Easy

These verses contrast outward adornment with inward character. The passage emphasizes that true beauty is a gentle and quiet spirit, a calm, humble, and God‑centered heart, rather than temporary things like hairstyles, jewelry, or clothing. The verse says this inner beauty endures and is highly valued by God.

Father God, help me grow a gentle and quiet spirit. Teach me humility, patience, and love so my life reflects what truly matters. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

“A Small Reminder”

In therapy and healing, we often feel like we’re “starting over.” But as the saying goes, you aren’t starting from scratch; you’re starting from experience. Be patient with yourself. Healing is a quiet, radical act of rebellion against the things that tried to break you.

Healing can feel like you’ve been dropped back at the beginning, but God knows better. You are not starting over, you are starting from experience. Every boundary learned, every truth faced, every moment you chose to keep breathing has become wisdom in your hands. Healing is not weakness; it is a quiet, holy defiance against the things that tried to break you. God meets you in the process, lighting each step and strengthening what once felt fragile. You are rebuilding with knowledge you didn’t have before, and grace is guiding you forward.

Psalm 18:28 (KJV) For thou wilt light my candle: the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.

Father God, remind me that I am not beginning again empty‑handed. Shine Your light on the places I’m still learning to heal. Give me patience with my process, courage to keep moving, and the grace to see how far You’ve already carried me. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

“Gods Rescue”

Psalm 40:1-3: I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.

These verses celebrate God’s rescue: the psalmist waits, is heard, is lifted from danger, and is given a new song of praise, a movement from distress to secure praise that invites others to trust God. David uses vivid rescue imagery: waiting patiently signals steadfast trust; God inclining and hearing shows divine attentiveness; the slimy pit and mire picture helplessness and danger; being set on a rock means stability and safety. These images are commonly read as David’s testimony of deliverance and as a model of how God responds to faithful waiting.

An ethereal figure touches a seated young man holding a lyre on a rock
A young musician receives a divine touch from an ethereal figure above him. David is depicted as a young musician who used his musical gift in royal service and worship. The biblical narrative and later Jewish tradition both describe him playing a stringed instrument (often translated kinor or lyre/harp) and composing many of the Psalms.

Father God, I wait on You. Hear my cry; lift me from what traps me; set my feet on solid ground and give me a new song of praise, that others may see and trust You. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

“Mother Mary”

She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.”

Matthew 1:21 easy

This announcement frames Jesus’ birth not only as a miracle but as the declaration of his purpose: to bring salvation. The name Jesus (Yeshua) itself signals that mission, God’s deliverance made personal and present.

Father God, thank You for sending Jesus, our Savior. Help me receive Your forgiveness, live in the freedom You give, and share Your hope with others. Love You, thank You, mpraise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

“Rejoice In The Lord Always”

Always be filled with joy in the Lord. I will say it again. Be filled with joy. Philippians 4:4 Easy

Rejoice in the Lord always is both a command and an invitation: not to fake happiness, but to root your heart in the unchanging goodness of God so joy becomes your steady response, even amid trouble. Practicing rejoicing shifts your focus from circumstances to Christ’s presence, trains your mind to remember his faithfulness, and opens you to the peace that follows. Let this verse shape your day by turning small worries into moments of praise and by choosing gratitude as a spiritual discipline.

Father God, praise You and thank You for the joy You give that does not depend on my circumstances. Help me to rejoice in You today, to keep my heart gentle and my mind fixed on Your goodness. Fill us with Your presence, replace anxiety with praise, and let Your peace guard our hearts. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

“Weight of Apologies”

“Weight of Apologies”
They will wake one quiet morning,
Find the house too large for silence,
Their hands full of small, sharp regrets,
The soft currency of things undone.

Once, their parents were the sun’s first light,
Pouring laughter into bowls at breakfast,
Tucking courage into pockets for school,
Teaching how to tie a stubborn shoelace.

They will count the empty chairs and wonder,
How joy was carried away by their own impatience,
How a single slammed door can hollow a lifetime.
Memory will press its cool palm to their forehead;
They will learn the weight of apologies, slow as rain,
The ache of loving someone who once loved them first.
