But even the smallest part of a letter in the law cannot be changed. It would be easier for heaven and earth to pass away. Luke 16:17 ERV:

Jesus reminds us that God’s truth is not optional or negotiable: the Law and the Prophets stand firm, and even the smallest part of God’s Word matters. When we try to bend truth to fit our comfort, we miss the steady, shaping work God intends. Instead of arguing with God’s standards, let us let them shape our hearts. Obedience isn’t about earning favor; it’s about aligning our lives with the One who made us. Small, faithful steps, honest words, humble choices, consistent mercy, prove that God’s kingdom is real in us.

Lord, help me take Your Word seriously and live it out in small, faithful ways. Give me courage to obey where it’s hard, humility to be shaped where I’m proud, and love that shows Your truth in kindness. Amen.
