Lord, refine me. Father God, come into my heart and walk with me through the furnace of life. Remove what keeps me from reflecting You. Give me patience to endure, wisdom to learn, and courage to trust Your shaping hand. Make my heart more like Yours so I may shine Your love to others.  Be strong and be brave. Don’t be afraid of those people because the Lord your God is with you. He will not fail you or leave you.” Then Moses called Joshua. Keep your lives free from the love of money. And be satisfied with what you have. God has said, “I will never leave you; I will never run away from you.” Hebrews 13:5 ERV:

God uses trials to refine, not to destroy. When the verse speaks of being tested in the furnace, it reminds us that hardship has a purpose: to remove impurities, strengthen faith, and shape our character. Rather than seeing suffering as punishment, we can view it as a refining process that draws us closer to God and makes our witness brighter. Hold fast to the promise that the Refiner is with you through the heat and that the end result is greater purity and trust. The servant is not greater than his Lord, and as Jesus was tested in the furnace of affliction and persecution, even so it is the furnace that refines us and makes us fit for real service. But always remember, “HE knows our frames and He is our strength in every trial.
