Do not become angry with each other. If you think that someone has done something wrong against you, forgive them. Remember that the Lord has forgiven you. So, you should also forgive other people. Colossians 3:13 ERV

This verse calls us to bear with one another and forgive as the Lord forgave us. Forgiveness isn’t optional for the follower of Christ; it’s the way we reflect the mercy we’ve received. Why it matters: Holding grudges keeps us chained to the past and distorts our witness. When we choose to forgive, we release others and ourselves into God’s hands and make room for reconciliation and healing. Practical steps: Remember how much you’ve been forgiven; let that memory shape your response. Speak a short, honest word of grace when conflict arises, even if it’s just, “I’m sorry” or “I forgive you.” Pray for the person who hurt you and ask God to change both hearts if needed.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, help me to bear with others in patience and to forgive as You have forgiven me. Soften my heart where it’s hard, Holy Spirit give me courage to let go of offense and fill me with Your peace so I can be an instrument of reconciliation. Lov you, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Mighty Precious Name Lord Jesus Amen.
