“Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.”Proverbs 28:13

There is a quiet warning and a gentle promise woven into this verse. Hidden sin feels like protection, but it becomes a barrier, blocking peace, growth, and intimacy with God. Concealment traps the heart, but confession opens the door to mercy. God is not looking to expose us to shame us; He invites us into honesty so He can heal what secrecy keeps wounded. Prosperity in this verse isn’t about wealth; it’s about spiritual wholeness. Mercy flows where truth is welcomed. Freedom begins where we stop hiding.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, give me the courage to bring my sins into Your light. Help me confess honestly, turn from what harms my soul, and receive the mercy You freely give. Keep my heart tender, my steps humble, and my life open before You. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Precious Name Amen.
