“When he had washed their feet and put on his outer garments and resumed his place, he said to them, “Do you understand what I have done to you? You call me Teacher and Lord, and you are right, for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.”
John 13:12-13
The Lord who holds authority chooses the lowly task of cleansing others, showing that true leadership is humble, hands‑on love. When we follow him, service is not a duty but the natural response to being known and forgiven by Christ. Let his example reshape how you lead, love, and care for those around you.
Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, You, who are Teacher and Lord stooped to wash our feet; give me a servant’s heart. Remove pride, open my hands to serve without counting cost, and help me to love others as You have loved me. Make my life a quiet reflection of Your humility and grace. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Precious Name Amen.
