Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory for this new day. Assist me to withstand the temptation of self-righteousness, and all other temptations that keep me from knowing Your will. I bless, thank You and praise You for Your precious Word. I thank You and praise You for the many truths I learn from its pages and the reassurances I believe that both the righteous judgement of the wicked and gracious deliverance of the righteous is the outcome. I thank You and praise You that You know how to rescue Your people from both the temptations of the evil one and the inevitable trials that stalk the pathway of every man and woman. Give me discernment, I believe, to identify false teachers and their twisted doctrines and to stand fast on the Word of truth, for Your name’s sake. I thank You and praise You that even in those times when I fail, through fear or lack of faith, that You remain faithful to the promises made to those who have trusted in You Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and life everlasting. Help me to live and work, day by day in Your light and stand with You. I thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Your Precious Name Amen.
