He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalm 46:10 ERV:

“Be still, and know that I am God.” This short command invites us to stop the frantic doing and rest in God’s presence. In the quiet, when we let go of control and hurry, we remember who holds our life and circumstances. Stillness isn’t passive defeat but a deliberate posture of trust: we acknowledge God’s sovereignty and let His peace reorder our hearts. In this fast pace world it is good to remember that there is yet a lot to be learned and accomplished in the art of just waiting. Wait on the Lord and He shall renew your strength. Isaiah 40:31.

Dear Lord Jesus, help me to be still today. Quiet my racing thoughts, steady my hands, and remind me that You are in control. Fill me with Your peace so I can trust rather than strive. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Mighty Precious Name Lord Jesus Amen and Amen.
