Elisha said, “Don’t be afraid. The army that fights for us is larger than the army that fights for Aram.” Then Elisha prayed and said, “Lord, I ask you, open my servant’s eyes so that he can see.” The Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and the servant saw the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire. They were all around Elisha. 2 King 6:16-17 ERV:

In these verse’s, Elisha’s servant was terrified by the enemy around them. Elisha prayed, and God opened the young man’s eyes to see the heavenly army protecting them. This moment reminds us that God often answers not by changing our circumstances first, but by changing our sight. When fear narrows our vision, prayer expands it. God’s presence surrounds us even when we can’t see it; faith lets us live from that reality. Instead of panic, pray for eyes to see God’s protection and for courage to act in the light of what He reveals. Think miracles! God has everything under control when we are losing control. We forget the last prayer God answered in the tough moments. Keep your eyes on God and not on the circumstances. “Fear thou not for I am with thee.” Isaiah 41:10, I believe.

Dear Lord Jesus, open our eyes to see Your protection and presence. When fear closes our vision, give us faith to trust what we cannot yet see. Help us remember that You surround and guard us; let that truth steady our hearts and guide our steps. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Mighty Precious Name Lord Jesus Amen.
