Romans 12:9 ERV:  Your love must be real. Hate what is evil. Do only what is good.

When you feel wronged, breathe, name the hurt, and choose the harder path of trust. Let God be the arbiter; let compassion and restraint shape your response. In that surrender you reflect God’s mercy and keep your life aligned with his peace. Forgive and move on.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus of justice and mercy, help me to resist the urge for revenge. Give me the strength to leave wrongs in your hands, the patience to wait for your righting, and the grace to live without bitterness. Fill my heart with peace so I may reflect your love to others. 1 Thessalonians 2:7 ERV: When we were with you, as apostles of Christ we could have used our authority to make you help us. But we were very gentle with you. We were like a mother caring for her little children.
