"Prayer to Care"

Category Archives: Ecclesiastes 3:1-22 NIV

A Time for Everything.
There is a time for everything,
And a season for every activity under the heavens:
A time to be born and a time to die,
A time to plant and a time to uproot,
A time to kill and a time to heal,
A time to tear down and a time to build,
A time to weep and a time to laugh,
A time to mourn and a time to dance,
A time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
A time to search and a time to give up,
A time to keep and a time to throw away,
A time to tear and a time to mend,
A time to be silent and a time to speak,
A time to love and a time to hate,
A time for war and a time for peace.
What do workers gain from their toil? I have seen the burden God has laid on the human race. He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God. I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that people will fear him. Whatever is has already been, and what will be has been before; and God will call the past to account. And I saw something else under the sun: In the place of judgment—wickedness was there, in the place of justice—wickedness was there. I said to myself, “God will bring into judgment both the righteous and the wicked for there will be a time for every activity, a time to judge every deed.” I also said to myself, “As for humans, God tests them so that they may see that they are like the animals. Surely the fate of human beings is like that of the animals; the same fate awaits them both: As one dies, so dies the other. All have the same breath; humans have no advantage over animals. Everything is meaningless. All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return. Who knows if the human spirit rises upward and if the spirit of the animal goes down into the earth?” So I saw that there is nothing better for a person than to enjoy their work, because that is their lot. For who can bring them to see what will happen after them?

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. Thank you for this new day. Father, thank you for your faithfulness to me through every moment, every day, every month, every year of my life. I am grateful that through experience I know you keep your promises and answer my prayers. I praise you for all you have done for me. No words can express my appreciation. Only you know how I truly feel. I thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Jesus. Amen.

He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end. I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life. And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God. I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.

Hebrews 12:1–2 (NIV)

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.”

This verse affirms that those who have gone before us are not lost, they surround us as a “cloud of witnesses,” encouraging us to continue in faith.

Lord Jesus Christ, You who see beyond our faults and call us beloved. Let Your vision shine through our eyes today. Where we see brokenness, help us offer healing. Where we see sin, help us remember mercy. Where we see ourselves in others, let us forgive as You have forgiven us. Teach us to walk tenderly, to pray boldly, to love without condition. Let every encounter be a chance to reflect Your peace. May Your grace flow through our words, Your healing through our hands, and Your compassion through our hearts. We thank You for the power to restore, not by our strength, but by Your Spirit. In every moment, remind us: We are never separated from Your love. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Precious Name Amen.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. Thank you for another day to breathe and to enjoy this new day with you. Lord Jesus, from before my birth you have been my God, loving me even before I took my first breath. What a breathtaking thought that is! To know you have never left and when I loose my breath for a moment, you Lord Jesus, give it back for me to live again. What a comfort knowing that my life is securely in your control and that you are always with me and all of your creation, guiding and directing for your glory. I praise you for creating me and showing me there is a art to everything in this world. Your creation is in the image of you. Unique! I thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Lord Jesus. Amen.

For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. Thank you for this new day. Heavenly Father, I am so grateful that your power and authority are so much greater than my mistakes. As I press forward, leaving my past behind. Lord Jesus, I pray that you will strengthen me and established the purpose for which you have called me. I thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Jesus. Amen.

Brethren (fellow Christians or members of believers in Christ.), I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. Thank you for this new day. Lord Jesus, you are indeed robed with majesty. All of creation sings your praises. All of creation reveres Your might. May each person your hands have formed thank you for life and breath. May each eye look to you as Creator. May each mouth declare you are King. May the day come soon. Hallelujah! Praise you, thank you, give you all the honor and glory Jesus.
Amen.

“Psalms 93
The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved. Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting. The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves. The LORD on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea. Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O LORD, forever.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. Thank you for waking me. Lord Jesus, Father, the world surrounds me pressing in and tempting me in so many ways. Help me set appropriate limits. Give me sound judgement to choose wisely. Guard me from temptation; protect me from physical and mental predators; lead me into paths of righteousness and light. And reassure me with your promise that you are holding me in your hands. Thank you, praise and give you all the glory and honor Jesus.
Amen.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. Thank you for this unique day. Lord Jesus, I thank you for creating me as a unique individual. Now I ask you to help others not to give up on life, help them to appreciate their uniqueness. Build up their self-image so they can enjoy their individuality. Help them to stand firm for who they are, where they come from and what they believe in, to enhance their future. Encourage them not only to have hopes and dreams, but to also enjoy each day as it comes. I thank you, praise and give you all the glory and honor Jesus. Amen.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I praise you Father, for this new day. Thank you! Lord Jesus, sometimes when I see how radical you are. I am awed and amazed. Amazed at the wonderful ways you have rescued me from my empty, lonely, status-quo existence and lifted me into your presence. Thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Jesus. Amen

And when the sabbath day had come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands? Mark 6:2

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. Father, help me to remember that there are people out there who are lonely and without friends. May my heart be always open to welcome more friends into my life. Thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Jesus. Amen

For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers; Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you. Romans 1:9-10
