"Prayer to Care"

Category Archives: Ecclesiastes 3:1-22 NIV

A Time for Everything.
There is a time for everything,
And a season for every activity under the heavens:
A time to be born and a time to die,
A time to plant and a time to uproot,
A time to kill and a time to heal,
A time to tear down and a time to build,
A time to weep and a time to laugh,
A time to mourn and a time to dance,
A time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
A time to search and a time to give up,
A time to keep and a time to throw away,
A time to tear and a time to mend,
A time to be silent and a time to speak,
A time to love and a time to hate,
A time for war and a time for peace.
What do workers gain from their toil? I have seen the burden God has laid on the human race. He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God. I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that people will fear him. Whatever is has already been, and what will be has been before; and God will call the past to account. And I saw something else under the sun: In the place of judgment—wickedness was there, in the place of justice—wickedness was there. I said to myself, “God will bring into judgment both the righteous and the wicked for there will be a time for every activity, a time to judge every deed.” I also said to myself, “As for humans, God tests them so that they may see that they are like the animals. Surely the fate of human beings is like that of the animals; the same fate awaits them both: As one dies, so dies the other. All have the same breath; humans have no advantage over animals. Everything is meaningless. All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return. Who knows if the human spirit rises upward and if the spirit of the animal goes down into the earth?” So I saw that there is nothing better for a person than to enjoy their work, because that is their lot. For who can bring them to see what will happen after them?

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love you and thank you for this new day to live life to the fullest. Father God, what could be more important than the treasure I have in You and Your Word? Help me to point others toward the things that truly matter, both now and for all eternity. I thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Jesus. Amen.

To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, and a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light: 1 Peter 2:4-9

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love you and thank you for this new day. Father God, I ask that you fill others and myself with Your Holy Spirit, so our character reflects Your goodness and love. Give us kindness and love for others. Bring joy to our life so we will be a joy to others. Grant us patience and self-control through difficult and trying times. May we show mercy and generosity to those who are less fortunate. Grant us integrity and a sense of justice, and surround us with Your peace. Thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Jesus. Amen.

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your God am holy. Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep my sabbaths: I am the LORD your God. Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am the LORD your God. And if ye offer a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD, ye shall offer it at your own will.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love you and thank you for this new day. Father God, I pray that you will bless the home and family of others. I thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Jesus. Amen.

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it. Numbers 23:19-20

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love you and thank you for this new day. Father God, it makes me feel so loved when you call me by name. Father, I pray a special blessing upon each person I come in contact with today. Use their passion, enthusiasm and zest for your kingdom. Grant that each person will fulfill your unique and special purpose. I thank you, praise and give you all the glory Jesus. Amen.

Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted. But Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me. Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love you and thank you for life and for this brand new day. Father God, thank you for forgiving me of all of my sins. Thank you for your wonderful gift of not remembering my past sinfulness and misdeeds. Help me to understand how completely and absolutely I am forgiven through your love and grace. I thank you, praise and give you all the glory Jesus. Amen

But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love you and thank you for this new day. Father God, I thank you for the freedom you’ve given me to make my own choices. I cherish that freedom and desire to use it in many ways that are consistent with your purpose and plan for my life. I know that your plan is designed to keep me safe from all harm and bring me fulfillment, joy and success in all I do. Thank you for being here every moment of my life, as well as others. Lord, you are awesome. Continue to teach me to use my freedom in ways that are pleasing to you. I thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Jesus. Amen.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love you and thank you for this new day. Lord, my heart is filled with praise for you as I remember how you have guided me and as I think of all you have given me, spiritually and physically. Thank you, Lord , that you see all that goes on in this sad, sad world and that you will ensure that justice and righteousness have the last word. Father, give me faith to trust you in times of trouble. I thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Jesus. Amen.

I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy Marvelous works. I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High. When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence. For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou satest in the throne judging right. Thou hast rebuked the heathen, thou hast destroyed the wicked, thou hast put out their name for ever and ever. O thou enemy, destructions have come to a perpetual end: and thou hast destroyed cities; their memorial perished with them. But the LORD shall endure forever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment. And he shall judge the world in righteousness; he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness. The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. Sing praises to the LORD, which dwelleth in Zion: declare among the people his doings.
Psalms 9:1-11

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning, I love you and thank you for this new day to breathe and live life to the fullest. Lord Jesus, As Isaiah prophesied concerning the Messiah, Jesus Christ, may your Spirit rest on others to see the love of you. Give them the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of power, the Spirit of knowledge and reverence of you, so that they may delight in fearing you. I thank you, praise and give you all the glory and honor Jesus. Amen.

And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins. The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. Isaiah 11:2-6

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I Love you. Thank you for another beautiful nights rest. Thank you for this new day Father. Lord Jesus, I pray for wisdom, the courage and the piety to choose your ways and your will for life. Thank you for the model I have in Mary, Mother of Jesus, a woman of devotion and selflessness. Father, sometimes I don’t see where you are working in others. Reassure me with your promise that you are holding them. I thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Jesus. Amen.

Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
Romans 5:18-19

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love you and thank you for this new day. Father God, my soul echoes the praise that flowed from so long ago. Accept Lord Jesus, my own song of praise for your mercy and faithfulness. Father, when I think of your faithfulness to me and our family, I want to dance and tell others of your goodness, of how you answer prayers just that quick. Because you are a lavish and are a true loving Lord, I want to treasure and give you lavish praise. Thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Jesus. Amen.

I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
Psalms 34:1-6
