"Prayer to Care"

Category Archives: Ecclesiastes 3:1-22 NIV

A Time for Everything.
There is a time for everything,
And a season for every activity under the heavens:
A time to be born and a time to die,
A time to plant and a time to uproot,
A time to kill and a time to heal,
A time to tear down and a time to build,
A time to weep and a time to laugh,
A time to mourn and a time to dance,
A time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
A time to search and a time to give up,
A time to keep and a time to throw away,
A time to tear and a time to mend,
A time to be silent and a time to speak,
A time to love and a time to hate,
A time for war and a time for peace.
What do workers gain from their toil? I have seen the burden God has laid on the human race. He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God. I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that people will fear him. Whatever is has already been, and what will be has been before; and God will call the past to account. And I saw something else under the sun: In the place of judgment—wickedness was there, in the place of justice—wickedness was there. I said to myself, “God will bring into judgment both the righteous and the wicked for there will be a time for every activity, a time to judge every deed.” I also said to myself, “As for humans, God tests them so that they may see that they are like the animals. Surely the fate of human beings is like that of the animals; the same fate awaits them both: As one dies, so dies the other. All have the same breath; humans have no advantage over animals. Everything is meaningless. All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return. Who knows if the human spirit rises upward and if the spirit of the animal goes down into the earth?” So I saw that there is nothing better for a person than to enjoy their work, because that is their lot. For who can bring them to see what will happen after them?

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love you and thank you for this new day to live for you. Lord of Heaven and earth, I pray that by your grace you would place on my heart an excitement to live out your statutes and commandments. Give me wisdom in how to do it in my daily activities and in special times together with others I don’t see often. May I know that my godly influence can change others lives and hearts I pray in Jesus name. I thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Lord Jesus. Amen.

And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love you and thank you for this new day to breathe and fellowship with you as you guide me on a straight path with a purpose. Father God, when I think about your faithfulness to me and my friends as family, I want to dance, sing and shout! Because you are a lavish God, I want to give you lavish praise. I thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Lord Jesus. Amen.
—
I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. Psalms 34:1-6

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love you and thank you for a great nights sleep. Thank you for this new day to breathe and worship you. Father God, open my eyes to the needs of the world. Let me see how I can bring the news of salvation to others, in my own backyard or all over the world. Lord Jesus, you are awesome! Show them the real you this day. Your blessing of life is worth more than any obstacle thrown at us. Life, as love is unconditional. I thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Lord Jesus. Amen.

For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Acts 1:5-10

(Now the Amalekites and the Canaanites dwelt in the valley.) Tomorrow turn you, and get you into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea. And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, which murmur against me? I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against me. Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you:

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love you and thank you for this new day. Lord Jesus, the world surrounds us, pressing, tempting and stressing us in so many ways. Help us set appropriate limits. Give us sound judgement to choose wisely. Guard and protect us through every moment of our days. Father God, so many people have illumined my path, to many to count. I honor them in your name, and I thank you for the blessing they have been to me. If there is someone whose life I can brighten, Lord Jesus, show me their need, and allow me to shine on them as they continue their path to you. I thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Lord Jesus. Amen.
—–
And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love you and thank you for this new day to live. Father God, My Rock, you are the only foundation for my life. I need your strength, wisdom, firm footing, in order to make it through all that this life throws my way, good and bad, easy and difficult, happy and sad. Help me, Lord Jesus, to keep my eyes on what is important; not the stuff that is not. Let me keep my mind fixed on the foundation of my soul. I thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Lord Jesus. Amen.
—
Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved. How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence. They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah. My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love you and thank you for this new day to breathe. Father God thank you for others who may be needing healing, from guilt, anger, just difficult times in their life. Thank you for your protection during the difficult times of life. I pray when they approach hazardous turning points along their pathway, that they will look to you, they will lift their hands with confidence toward you and praise you in their storm. I thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Lord Jesus. Amen.
—
God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies. The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet. He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and drieth up all the rivers: Bashan languisheth, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languisheth. The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein. Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him. The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. Nahum 1:2-7

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love you and thank you for this new day. Father God, you know me, and you know others, from before we were born you have known us. There is absolutely no where we can go where you are not present, holding us, sustaining us and changing us to be like you Jesus. Help me to trust you when things are not easy and to know that you are active and at work in my life and in the lives of your loved ones. I proclaim you as Lord of Life, in your powerful name! I thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Lord Jesus. Amen.
—
For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? Romans8:24-31

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love you and thank you for this new day to experience the wonders of righteousness. Knowing you are right here with us for your glory. What a wonder, Father God, you have transformed us into your walking, breathing temple. Help us to instill the wonder of your presence into the hearts of a new generation. How will they know, Father, unless we tell them? Grant us courage to declare that you are God forever and ever. We thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Lord Jesus. Amen.

Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness. Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King. God is known in her palaces for a refuge. For, lo, the kings were assembled, they passed by together. They saw it, and so they marvelled; they were troubled, and hasted away. Fear took hold upon them there, and pain, as of a woman in travail. Thou breakest the ships of Tarshish with an east wind. As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the LORD of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever. Selah. We have thought of thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple. According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness. Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments. Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof. Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that ye may tell it to the generation following. For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death. Psalm 48

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love you and thank you for Heaven, earth and this new day to live. I praise you for the honor of being made in Your image, personally formed by You for Your Glory, and gifted spiritually to please You. Thank you for each strength, ability and desirable trait you have given good to me. Thank you that I can enjoy my strengths and gifts without pride or false modesty as I give you all the credit. All I have is sustained by you and I thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Lord Jesus. Amen.

O LORD, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens. Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger. When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field; The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! Psalm 8
