"Prayer to Care"

Category Archives: Ecclesiastes 3:1-22 NIV

A Time for Everything.
There is a time for everything,
And a season for every activity under the heavens:
A time to be born and a time to die,
A time to plant and a time to uproot,
A time to kill and a time to heal,
A time to tear down and a time to build,
A time to weep and a time to laugh,
A time to mourn and a time to dance,
A time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
A time to search and a time to give up,
A time to keep and a time to throw away,
A time to tear and a time to mend,
A time to be silent and a time to speak,
A time to love and a time to hate,
A time for war and a time for peace.
What do workers gain from their toil? I have seen the burden God has laid on the human race. He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God. I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that people will fear him. Whatever is has already been, and what will be has been before; and God will call the past to account. And I saw something else under the sun: In the place of judgment—wickedness was there, in the place of justice—wickedness was there. I said to myself, “God will bring into judgment both the righteous and the wicked for there will be a time for every activity, a time to judge every deed.” I also said to myself, “As for humans, God tests them so that they may see that they are like the animals. Surely the fate of human beings is like that of the animals; the same fate awaits them both: As one dies, so dies the other. All have the same breath; humans have no advantage over animals. Everything is meaningless. All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return. Who knows if the human spirit rises upward and if the spirit of the animal goes down into the earth?” So I saw that there is nothing better for a person than to enjoy their work, because that is their lot. For who can bring them to see what will happen after them?

Father God, good morning. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory for this new day. Forgive us for when we don’t thank You or praise You enough, for who You are, for all that You do for us, for all the gifts you’ve given. Help us to set our eyes and our hearts on you afresh. I thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
“That is why I always remember you in my prayers and thank God for you. I have done this ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all of God’s people. I always pray to the great and glorious Father, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ. I pray that he will give you the Spirit, who will let you know truths about God and help you understand them, so that you will know him better. I pray that God will open your minds to see his truth. Then you will know the hope that he has chosen us to have. You will know that the blessings God has promised his holy people are rich and glorious.

Whatever happens, always be thankful. This is how God wants you to live in Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 ERV

To love God with all my heart means to make Him my greatest treasure and gives me the desire to value my relationship with Him, with Jesus, over anything and everything else in my life. Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.

Psalm 146 tells us, To experience God’s blessing, always praise Him and always trust Him. This psalm (and each of Psalms 147-150), begins and ends with the exhortation, “Praise the Lord” (“Hallelujah”). We should not use hallelujah loosely, lest we be guilty of taking the Lord’s name in vain.

Ultimately, the Bible encourages believers to focus on eternal things. It is important to thank God for earthly blessings, but in order to always be thankful, there must be things to thank God for that do not rust, decay, or disappear. The way to always give thanks is to remember to thank God for His eternal gifts and promises.

To honor God, we must be thankful for the blessings He provides us every day. We recognize that everything we have comes from Him, and we express our gratitude through our prayers, words, and actions. Honor God in your daily life by applying these principles to your spiritual journey.

“To God be all Glory, always!” is a statement of praise to God. It is a common phrase used in the Bible. The phrase is used to acknowledge that God deserves all the glory and praise for everything. It is also used to express the belief that God is the source of all power and strength.

Father God, good morning. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory for this new day. I thank You and praise You that You are God and I am not. I thank You and praise You for answered prayer. I thank You and praise You for my very breath that is a gift from You. I thank You and praise You that You woke me to this precious day that is a gift from You. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory for Your plan in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
