"Prayer to Care"

Category Archives: Ecclesiastes 3:1-22 NIV

A Time for Everything.
There is a time for everything,
And a season for every activity under the heavens:
A time to be born and a time to die,
A time to plant and a time to uproot,
A time to kill and a time to heal,
A time to tear down and a time to build,
A time to weep and a time to laugh,
A time to mourn and a time to dance,
A time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
A time to search and a time to give up,
A time to keep and a time to throw away,
A time to tear and a time to mend,
A time to be silent and a time to speak,
A time to love and a time to hate,
A time for war and a time for peace.
What do workers gain from their toil? I have seen the burden God has laid on the human race. He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God. I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that people will fear him. Whatever is has already been, and what will be has been before; and God will call the past to account. And I saw something else under the sun: In the place of judgment—wickedness was there, in the place of justice—wickedness was there. I said to myself, “God will bring into judgment both the righteous and the wicked for there will be a time for every activity, a time to judge every deed.” I also said to myself, “As for humans, God tests them so that they may see that they are like the animals. Surely the fate of human beings is like that of the animals; the same fate awaits them both: As one dies, so dies the other. All have the same breath; humans have no advantage over animals. Everything is meaningless. All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return. Who knows if the human spirit rises upward and if the spirit of the animal goes down into the earth?” So I saw that there is nothing better for a person than to enjoy their work, because that is their lot. For who can bring them to see what will happen after them?

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, Good morning. Thank you for this new day. Oh Lord Jesus, I praise your name, for you have showered me with blessings too numerous to name or count. I thank you for hearing my cries for help, my pleas for forgiveness, my requests for soulutions. Protect me from the troubles of this world, for you are my refuge. I thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Lord Jesus. Amen.

I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. Psalms 34:1-8

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. Thank you for this new day to breathe. Lord Jesus, You are my delight! You have wrapped your loving arms of righteousness and salvation securely around me. I pray that your promise of long ago be true. That your righteousness and praise spring up before the nations and bring us peace. I thank you, and praise and give you all the honor and glory Jesus. Amen.

Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. The LORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men. From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth. He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. Father God, thank you for all the many things you give me every day: Life, Your love, morning sunshine, smiles, hugs, laughter of others. Thank you for a great cup of coffee and laughter from my best friend. May I always be grateful for the many blessings you shower on me. I thank you, praise and give you all the glory Lord Jesus. Amen

Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our LORD: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. Thank you for this new day. I love you Lord Jesus. Lord Jesus, I pray for Grandparents who are carrying heavy burdens for their children and grandchildren. Help them to know that the power of prayer is multiplied when we pray with and for others, even as the tears flow in the name of Jesus. Give them strength and courage to endure. I thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Jesus. Amen.

For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. Psalms 139:13-14

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
James 1:2-4

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. Thank you for this new day. Father God, in life’s difficulties, help me to look to you to see what you are trying to teach me. I so want to be a good student in life and to persevere to the end. Let me not become distracted along the way. I thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Jesus. Amen.

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. Thank you for anther beautiful day. Father God, too often I forget to call home to you. And when I do, I am amazed at how you always welcome me with open arms and embrace me with your love. Thank you so much for life. I thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Jesus. Amen.

The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down. The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season. Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing. The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works. The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them. The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy. My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.
Amen

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. Thank you for waking me and for this new day. Father, I stand in awe at your power to bring together in kinship generations of those who have loved you and worshiped you. Thank you for inviting me to be part of your family called the church. Thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Jesus. Amen.

That thine eyes may be open toward this house night and day, even toward the place of which thou hast said, My name shall be there: that thou mayest hearken unto the prayer which thy servant shall make toward this place. And hearken thou to the supplication of thy servant, and of thy people Israel, when they shall pray toward this place: and hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place: and when thou hearest, forgive.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. Thank you for this new day.
Lord Jesus, help me to remember that my words and actions have an effect on my life, and can influence others blessings and faith in you in days to come. May my example before them cause each one to love you and put their trust in You Father. I thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Jesus. Amen

And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life. Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:3-7
