"Prayer to Care"

Category Archives: Ecclesiastes 3:1-22 NIV

A Time for Everything.
There is a time for everything,
And a season for every activity under the heavens:
A time to be born and a time to die,
A time to plant and a time to uproot,
A time to kill and a time to heal,
A time to tear down and a time to build,
A time to weep and a time to laugh,
A time to mourn and a time to dance,
A time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
A time to search and a time to give up,
A time to keep and a time to throw away,
A time to tear and a time to mend,
A time to be silent and a time to speak,
A time to love and a time to hate,
A time for war and a time for peace.
What do workers gain from their toil? I have seen the burden God has laid on the human race. He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God. I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that people will fear him. Whatever is has already been, and what will be has been before; and God will call the past to account. And I saw something else under the sun: In the place of judgment—wickedness was there, in the place of justice—wickedness was there. I said to myself, “God will bring into judgment both the righteous and the wicked for there will be a time for every activity, a time to judge every deed.” I also said to myself, “As for humans, God tests them so that they may see that they are like the animals. Surely the fate of human beings is like that of the animals; the same fate awaits them both: As one dies, so dies the other. All have the same breath; humans have no advantage over animals. Everything is meaningless. All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return. Who knows if the human spirit rises upward and if the spirit of the animal goes down into the earth?” So I saw that there is nothing better for a person than to enjoy their work, because that is their lot. For who can bring them to see what will happen after them?

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. Thank you for this new day. Father God, I love you because you first loved me and you still do. God of Wonder, you are present in the darkest cave, on the mountain top, in the deepest ocean and on the desert sand. be present to me. I bow to worship you. I fall to my knees in wonder of you. For you are my God, the great God who claims me as one of His own children. I thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Jesus in Your name. Amen

O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also. The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land. O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker. For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness: Psalms 95:1-8

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. Father God, I love you and thank you for this new day. Lord Jesus, I pray for others today. For their social life and their friends. Bring diverse friends into their life who will love and encourage them, who will bring joy and laughter to the good times and comfort and support through difficulties and disappointments. Grant them wisdom and discernment as they select their friends; help them to avoid cliques that restrict, activities that endanger, and foolish and dangerous behaviors that harm. I ask that you fill their life with close and caring relationships, like the relationship you have with us, guiding us to yourself. I thank you, praise and give you all the glory, in Jesus name. Amen.

And I have been with thee whithersoever thou hast walked, and have cut off all thine enemies from before thee, and have made thee a name like the name of the great men that are in the earth. 1 Chronicles 17:8

Thou shalt observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that thou hast gathered in thy corn and thy wine: And thou shalt rejoice in thy feast, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite, the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are within thy gates. Seven days shalt thou keep a solemn feast unto the LORD thy God in the place which the LORD shall choose: because the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thine increase, and in all the works of thine hands, therefore thou shalt surely rejoice. Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty: Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee.
Deuteronomy 16:13-17

“Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them instantly.”Numbers 16:21 is sobering. It’s spoken in the midst of Korah’s rebellion, a moment when God’s holiness confronts defiance.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, teach me when to stand apart. Give me wisdom to know when a gathering is not of You, and courage to walk away when Your Spirit says “enough.” I don’t want to be swept up in rebellion or pride. I want to be found faithful, humble, and aligned with Your heart. Help me separate from what dishonors You, So I may dwell in Your mercy, not Your judgment. Love You, Thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Precious Name amen and amen.

“The Angel with a Little Scroll”

Carries several symbolic meanings and benefits for believers:
Divine Judgment and Sovereignty: The angel’s appearance, described with a rainbow over his head and feet like pillars of fire, symbolizes God’s judgment and covenant promises. This reassures believers of God’s control over earthly events and His, ultimate victory.
Encouragement and Comfort: The interlude in Revelation 10 provides comfort to believers by showing that despite the coming judgments, God remains sovereign and His redemptive plan will prevail.
Bittersweet Experience: When John eats the little scroll, it tastes sweet in his mouth but turns bitter in his stomach. This symbolizes the mixed experiences of receiving God’s word, joy in understanding His promises and sorrow in the realization of impending judgments.
Prophetic Mission: The act of eating the scroll signifies internalizing God’s message and being prepared to prophesy. It emphasizes the importance of spreading God’s word, even when the message is difficult.
These elements highlight the balance of God’s justice and mercy, offering both a warning and a promise to believers. The angel instructs John to eat the scroll to symbolize the internalization of God’s message. The act of eating the scroll signifies that John must fully absorb and understand the message before he can convey it to others. This imagery is also seen in the Book of Ezekiel, where the prophet Ezekiel is similarly commanded to eat a scroll to receive and deliver God’s message.

It reads in Revelation 10:1-11 Easy: Then I saw another powerful angel. He was coming down from heaven. He had a cloud all round him, like his clothes. There was a rainbow above his head. His face was like the sun and his legs shone like fire. He had a little book in his hand and it was open. He put his right foot on the sea and he put his left foot on the land. Then he shouted with a loud voice, like a lion that roars. When he shouted, seven loud voices answered him. They were like the noise of thunder. When the seven voices of thunder spoke, I was ready to write. But I heard a voice that came from heaven. The voice said to me, ‘Keep secret what the seven voices of thunder have said. Do not write it down.’ Then I looked again at the angel who stood with one foot on the sea and his other foot on the land. He raised his right hand towards heaven. He made a strong promise by the name of God, who lives for ever. He created heaven, the earth and the sea, as well as everything that is in them. The angel said, ‘There is no more time to wait! Now is the time when the seventh angel will make a sound with his trumpet. Then God will quickly finish what he wants to do. This has been a secret, but he told it long ago to the prophets who were his servants.’ Then I heard again the voice that spoke to me from heaven. He said, ‘Go to the angel who is standing with one foot on the sea and his other foot on the land. Go and take the book that is open in his hand.’ So I went to the angel. I asked him to give me the little book. He said to me, ‘Take the book and then eat it. It will be very sweet like honey in your mouth. But it will hurt your stomach like bad food.’ So I took the little book from the angel’s hand and I ate it. It was as sweet as honey in my mouth. But when I had eaten the book, it hurt my stomach. Then the voice said to me, ‘You must continue to tell God’s message to people. You must say what will happen to people from everywhere in the world. They are the people of many nations, and people who speak many languages, and also their kings.’
Father God, knowing the seven angel bittersweet making John eat the scroll. Its like sinning and then getting caught, repenting and being forgiven. Sin may make some feel good, but not after the swallow. I thank You for the Scriptures and the awesome way they all point to Jesus Christ, Who originally is the one guiding righteousness and the only way to heaven, and that by faith in redemption power of His shed blood on the Cross, we may receive forgiveness of sin and life everlasting. I thank You and praise You that Jesus Christ ever lives to make intercession through the Holy Spirit for His people and I believe that I too may learn to pray without ceasing, to give praise and thanks in all things, and to love You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength, for Your goodness and grace. I believe that anyone out there who doesn’t know you that you will guide others to encourage them and guide them to You. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

Beautifully heartfelt reflection, rich with reverence, insight, and spiritual depth. The imagery in Revelation 10 is indeed powerful, and our interpretation captures the emotional and theological weight of the passage with grace. Symbolism of the Angel and Scroll
Divine Authority: The angel’s radiant appearance and stance over land and sea reflect God’s dominion over all creation.
Covenant Reminder: The rainbow recalls God’s promise to humanity, linking judgment with mercy.
Prophetic Urgency: The declaration that “there is no more time to wait” signals the imminence of God’s final plan.
Bittersweet Revelation:
Sweetness: Receiving God’s word brings joy, hope, and clarity.
Bitterness: The truth also carries sorrow, especially when it involves judgment or difficult truths.
Personal Transformation: Eating the scroll symbolizes internalizing God’s message, preparing the believer to speak truth boldly.
Prayerful Response:
Prayer beautifully ties the passage to the redemptive work of Christ:
Forgiveness through the Cross: Acknowledging the bittersweet nature of sin and grace.
Intercession and Guidance: Trusting the Holy Spirit to lead believers in prayer and praise.
Evangelistic Hope: Asking for others to be drawn to God through encouragement and love.

Thank you Walter honey,

The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies. What do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time. Nahum 1:7-9

May I make a difference!
And touch one heart!
Each day it is my goal!
To bring smiles and laughter into a soul!
Love, Peace and Joy to All!

“So that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation. Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky.” Philippians 2:15 (NIV)

Loving Father God, Thank You and praise You for the gift of this day. As I walk through it, may I be a light in someone’s darkness, a smile in someone’s sorrow, and a reminder of Your love in someone’s loneliness. Help me to make a difference, not through grand gestures, but through simple acts of kindness, compassion, and grace. Let my words bring peace, my actions reflect Your joy, and my heart remain open to those You place in my path. May I live with intention, love without condition, and serve with gladness. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious name, Amen and Amen.
