"Prayer to Care"

Category Archives: Ecclesiastes 3:1-22 NIV

A Time for Everything.
There is a time for everything,
And a season for every activity under the heavens:
A time to be born and a time to die,
A time to plant and a time to uproot,
A time to kill and a time to heal,
A time to tear down and a time to build,
A time to weep and a time to laugh,
A time to mourn and a time to dance,
A time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
A time to search and a time to give up,
A time to keep and a time to throw away,
A time to tear and a time to mend,
A time to be silent and a time to speak,
A time to love and a time to hate,
A time for war and a time for peace.
What do workers gain from their toil? I have seen the burden God has laid on the human race. He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God. I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that people will fear him. Whatever is has already been, and what will be has been before; and God will call the past to account. And I saw something else under the sun: In the place of judgment—wickedness was there, in the place of justice—wickedness was there. I said to myself, “God will bring into judgment both the righteous and the wicked for there will be a time for every activity, a time to judge every deed.” I also said to myself, “As for humans, God tests them so that they may see that they are like the animals. Surely the fate of human beings is like that of the animals; the same fate awaits them both: As one dies, so dies the other. All have the same breath; humans have no advantage over animals. Everything is meaningless. All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return. Who knows if the human spirit rises upward and if the spirit of the animal goes down into the earth?” So I saw that there is nothing better for a person than to enjoy their work, because that is their lot. For who can bring them to see what will happen after them?

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory for this new day. Thank You for this verse: {“Do nothing out of rivalry or conceit, but in humility consider others as more important than yourselves.” Philippians 2:3 }It is my desire to do nothing out of selfish motives or ungodly incentives, but rather I believe that I may in humility of heart, value others above myself, to Your praise, honor and glory. Help me to value the needs and concerns of another more than my own and keep me humble in heart and low at the cross. I thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Your Precious Name Lord Jesus Amen.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory for this new day. I thank You for Your Word and for calling me into Your family, through faith in Jesus Christ. Let me take heed to all that You would teach me, and use me as a vessel, to point the lost to Jesus Christ, and to encourage those that are saved by grace. Thank You that we have been equipped with knowledge of the truth, which is according to godliness. Let me keep doing my studies that You have provided for me through the University. Guide me as I endure through these studies and give me the wisdom. Thank You for all You do. {“Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;” Titus 1:1} I thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Your Precious Name Jesus Amen.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory for this new day. Oh! How amazing and gracious that You would tell us the end from the beginning. Thank You that You loved Your fallen creation so much, that You would give Your only begotten Son, to suffer, so cruelly on the cross, to save humanity from their sin . That whosoever believes on Jesus Christ, would not perish but receive everlasting life. Thank You that my sin was judged at the cross. I pray that many who are blinded by the deceiving Satan, would have their hearts and eyes open to the truth of the glorious gospel of grace, and be saved by faith. {“I continued watching in the night visions, and I saw One like a son of man coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was escorted before Him.” Daniel 7:13} Thank You for Your Precious Gift of Repentance! I thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Your Precious Name Amen!

  • {“So, for the person who knows to do good
    and doesn’t do it, it is a sin.” James 4:17}

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory for this new day. Thank You that when I search for something in my class work, that I over look, I am able to reread it and find it. Thank You for this truth in the book of James, that when I know what is righteous, and yet do not do it, I am committing a sin in Your eyes. Forgive me for the times when I have done things that was wrong and avoided doing what is right, or turned a blind eye to some need or necessity. Or made a promise and couldn’t keep it. Thank You for teaching me that breaking a promise is a lie. {“So, for the person who knows to do good and doesn’t do it, it is a sin.” James 4:17} Thank You that in Christ I have all that I need to live righteously, in this troubled world, and from this day forward that I would not only know what is right, but be ready and willing to carry it out, through Your sufficient strength, power, great promise that is never a lie. I thank You, Praise You and give You all the glory in Your precious Name Lord Jesus Amen.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory for this new day. I want to thank You for the wise words that Moses gave to the second generation of Israelites at the end of their wilderness wanderings. {“”And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God ask of you except to fear the Lord your God by walking in all His ways, to love Him, and to worship the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul?” Deuteronomy 10:12 } Help me to learn the lessons of trusting Your word and depending on You alone, as I live my life in these spiritually challenging times. I pray that my faith in Your Word would develop and grow and my life would become a living sacrifice of worship and praise of You, Who alone are worthy. Enable me to love and trust you with my whole heart and soul and mind and strength, for Your greater praise and glory. Let me be a light in the next generation so they will see You Lord Jesus clear and walk in Your ways to bring love and a unity that can not be broken. I thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Your Precious Name Amen.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory for this new day. Thank You for Your written Word and for You Jesus Christ. I pray that Your Word would become for me a joy and the delight of my heart for I have been called by Your name, and saved by the blood of the Lamb. I pray that I may be a doer of the word and always trust in its precepts and promises, no matter what difficulties and dangers I may have to undergo as an individual or nationally. {“Your words were found, and I ate them. Your words became a delight to me and the joy of my heart, for I am called by Your name, Lord God of Hosts.” Jeremiah 15:16} Help me to hold fast that which is good and do only those things that are pleasing in Your sight. I thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Your Precious Name Amen!

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory for this new day. Thank You for the incredible message of the cross and for giving me an understanding of the staggering truth that God, in the Person of Jesus Christ came to earth, to live and die as a man. Thank You that Lord Jesus You are for the sinner and that You guide the right people to encourage and guide in the right way. Thank You that by grace through faith in Jesus I have been saved and am being conformed into the likeness of Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit, Who lives in me, and Who guides all those who trust in You into all truth. “Therefore I will again confound these people with wonder after wonder. The wisdom of their wise men will vanish, and the understanding of the perceptive will be hidden.” Isaiah 29:14. I thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Your Precious Name Lord Jesus Amen!
