Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory for this new day. Father God, You, put us into families and set a father as the leader and role model for each family to follow Your lead. Sadly, there are fathers or mothers who are cheaters, abusive or addicts of some sort. Families are being torn apart in these situations. Guide someone in their lives who will help them to mend their families. Bless all families today. Open eyes and hearts to unity, commitment, faith, honesty and hope. God bless all those parents who believe in You and are godly in raising their children right and in Your light. I thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Precious Name Jesus Amen.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honor your father and mother “which is the first commandment with a promise. “So that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.” Fathers do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord. Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ.
