"Prayer to Care"

Category Archives: Ecclesiastes 3:1-22 NIV

A Time for Everything.
There is a time for everything,
And a season for every activity under the heavens:
A time to be born and a time to die,
A time to plant and a time to uproot,
A time to kill and a time to heal,
A time to tear down and a time to build,
A time to weep and a time to laugh,
A time to mourn and a time to dance,
A time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
A time to search and a time to give up,
A time to keep and a time to throw away,
A time to tear and a time to mend,
A time to be silent and a time to speak,
A time to love and a time to hate,
A time for war and a time for peace.
What do workers gain from their toil? I have seen the burden God has laid on the human race. He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God. I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that people will fear him. Whatever is has already been, and what will be has been before; and God will call the past to account. And I saw something else under the sun: In the place of judgment—wickedness was there, in the place of justice—wickedness was there. I said to myself, “God will bring into judgment both the righteous and the wicked for there will be a time for every activity, a time to judge every deed.” I also said to myself, “As for humans, God tests them so that they may see that they are like the animals. Surely the fate of human beings is like that of the animals; the same fate awaits them both: As one dies, so dies the other. All have the same breath; humans have no advantage over animals. Everything is meaningless. All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return. Who knows if the human spirit rises upward and if the spirit of the animal goes down into the earth?” So I saw that there is nothing better for a person than to enjoy their work, because that is their lot. For who can bring them to see what will happen after them?

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love you and thank you for this new day. Oh Lord, help us to remember that when life begins to seem futile, You are always watching us! Watching us with the unstinting favor of a proud and delighted Father. I thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Lord Jesus. Amen.

The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing. Zephaniah 3:17

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love you and thank you for the priviledge of intercession. You’ve promised to hear my prayers and answer them. Help me to never grow weary as I intercede for close friends, family and for those in need. Every moment of the day, to Three generations away. I know you will be there then too. I thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Lord Jesus.
Amen.

Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love you and thank you for this new day to breathe and live. Lord Jesus, you have been gracious to me. I see your blessings all around me. I feel your warmth as you shine your face on me. For all this I praise your name and sing for joy. I thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Lord Jesus. Amen.

God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah. That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations. Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah. Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us. God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.
Psalm 67

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love you and thank you for all your goodness toward me. I want to see and hear what you have to say to me today. I am listening. Father God, help me be creative in the way I present your truths to others in my life. As I pray for those who have so many needs, hurts and may their hearts be restored so they can rejoice in you and have a heart like Jesus. As I pray for those I love, give me elephant knees healthy and strong of my own. I thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Lord Jesus. Amen.

Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men. See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not. But ye said, No; for we will flee upon horses; therefore shall ye flee: and, We will ride upon the swift; therefore shall they that pursue you be swift. One thousand shall flee at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five shall ye flee: till ye be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign on an hill. And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him. Isaiah 30:15-18

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love you and thank you for this new day to give and love as You do me. Father God, I know that your God and I am not. I wait in your presence now. Help me to be quiet as I wait for your direction and power so that I may glorify You. I thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Lord Jesus. Amen.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love you and thank you for this life you have given me. What fun it is, Lord Jesus, to send a hug through the mail. Bless the one who sent me one yesterday. Bless my notes as they go from my hand to someone else’s. May the recipients receive as much joy from the notes as I had in writing and sending them. Help others to find joy in sending notes to one another opening hearts. A thousand generations! What an amazing perspective on your faithfulness, Lord Jesus. Thank you for each opportunity I have to pass on your truth to others. I thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory, Lord Jesus. Amen

Then on that day David delivered first this psalm to thank the LORD into the hand of Asaph and his brethren. Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people. Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works. Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD. Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually. Remember his marvellous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth; O ye seed of Israel his servant, ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones. He is the LORD our God; his judgments are in all the earth. Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations; 1 Chronicles 16:7-15

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love you and thank you for this new day to live and enjoy as you guide. May I be kind, compassionate, forgiving others, just as in Jesus Christ has forgiven me. May I speak words that are wholesome and that build others up in my life. May I think before I speak. I thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Lord Jesus. Amen.

Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you. Ephesians 4:29-32

The LORD recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the LORD God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust. Ruth 2:12
