"Prayer to Care"

Category Archives: Ecclesiastes 3:1-22 NIV

A Time for Everything.
There is a time for everything,
And a season for every activity under the heavens:
A time to be born and a time to die,
A time to plant and a time to uproot,
A time to kill and a time to heal,
A time to tear down and a time to build,
A time to weep and a time to laugh,
A time to mourn and a time to dance,
A time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
A time to search and a time to give up,
A time to keep and a time to throw away,
A time to tear and a time to mend,
A time to be silent and a time to speak,
A time to love and a time to hate,
A time for war and a time for peace.
What do workers gain from their toil? I have seen the burden God has laid on the human race. He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God. I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that people will fear him. Whatever is has already been, and what will be has been before; and God will call the past to account. And I saw something else under the sun: In the place of judgment—wickedness was there, in the place of justice—wickedness was there. I said to myself, “God will bring into judgment both the righteous and the wicked for there will be a time for every activity, a time to judge every deed.” I also said to myself, “As for humans, God tests them so that they may see that they are like the animals. Surely the fate of human beings is like that of the animals; the same fate awaits them both: As one dies, so dies the other. All have the same breath; humans have no advantage over animals. Everything is meaningless. All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return. Who knows if the human spirit rises upward and if the spirit of the animal goes down into the earth?” So I saw that there is nothing better for a person than to enjoy their work, because that is their lot. For who can bring them to see what will happen after them?

The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love you and thank you for this new day to breathe. Father God, there are so many who are hurting, who have no one in their life that cares about them, but those who really care about them, bless those people. Lord Jesus of joy! Don’t let no one steal their joy from them. They are so precious in your sight. I thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory, Lord Jesus. Amen.

Psalm 149
Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints. Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King. Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp. For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation. Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love you and thank you for this new day. Father God, protect, strengthen, heal, and hearten others and myself in our daily walk with you. Make us ever aware of your grace and love. Thank you Lord Jesus, for the gifts of spontaneity and humor. Help me to embrace with others the silly side of life. Through this experience, may we share and appreciate each other’s ideas and creativity. Thank you for those friends at home with you and on earth who have encouraged me in the past and continue to do so. Bless them Father. I thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Lord Jesus. Amen.

Since thou were precious in my sight, thou hast been Honorable, and I have loved thee: therefore, will I give men for thee, and people for thy life. Isaiah 43:4

This is a powerful Bible verse that captures the essence of “true worship” and surrender to Christ is Romans 12:1 “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, this is your true and proper worship.”

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love you and thank you so much for this new day. Holy Spirit, draw me nearer to you, Lord Jesus. Live in me and fill me with your power and grace, so that in all that I do and say I will be obedient to your word. I thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory. Lord Jesus. Amen.

For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love you and thank you for this new day. Lord Jesus, Thank you for others and the unique ways they have impacted my life. Bless them Father. Father God, Your words ring through my heart today. I want to be great for you and for your kingdom. I see that I can do that simply by serving. Let my life make a difference in this world, as I serve others for You, Lord Jesus. I thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory, Lord Jesus. Amen.

But Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them. But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister: And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all.
For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. Mark 10:42-45

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. Thank you for this new day. Father God in Heaven, teach us to leave our broken dreams at your feet. Help us to understand that through your power and your perfect plans, you will mend and restore them for us. I thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory, Lord Jesus. Amen

And I will wait upon the LORD, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him. Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion. Isaiah 8:17

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love you and thank you for this new day to forgive and live. Father God, sometimes I get upset for no reason. My thoughts are anxious and my heart is disquieted. Help me to choose prayer over worry and to experience your peace that passes all understanding, in the midst of uncertainty. As you work out your will in my life, help me to accept your good gifts in whatever packages they look like. I thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory! Lord Jesus. Amen.

Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. Romans 8:26-27

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love you and thank you for this new day to breathe and breathe out my words from my heart. Lord Jesus, how ungrateful of me to judge my outward appearance and worth. I know that I am so much more to you than a lump of aging clay. Thank you for precious life and for the gifts of wisdom, discernment and for curiosity. Thank you for your peace that pass’s all understanding and for your everlasting love. I thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Lord Jesus. Amen.

And all the trees of the field shall know that I the LORD have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish: I the LORD have spoken and have done it.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love you and thank you for this new day to live. Father God, I praise and thank you, for you have done great things for me, and others, and we are filled with joy. Thank you, praise and give you all the honor and glory Lord Jesus. Amen.

When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them. The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad. Turn again our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south. They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
Psalm 126
