"Prayer to Care"

Category Archives: Ecclesiastes 3:1-22 NIV

A Time for Everything.
There is a time for everything,
And a season for every activity under the heavens:
A time to be born and a time to die,
A time to plant and a time to uproot,
A time to kill and a time to heal,
A time to tear down and a time to build,
A time to weep and a time to laugh,
A time to mourn and a time to dance,
A time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
A time to search and a time to give up,
A time to keep and a time to throw away,
A time to tear and a time to mend,
A time to be silent and a time to speak,
A time to love and a time to hate,
A time for war and a time for peace.
What do workers gain from their toil? I have seen the burden God has laid on the human race. He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God. I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that people will fear him. Whatever is has already been, and what will be has been before; and God will call the past to account. And I saw something else under the sun: In the place of judgment—wickedness was there, in the place of justice—wickedness was there. I said to myself, “God will bring into judgment both the righteous and the wicked for there will be a time for every activity, a time to judge every deed.” I also said to myself, “As for humans, God tests them so that they may see that they are like the animals. Surely the fate of human beings is like that of the animals; the same fate awaits them both: As one dies, so dies the other. All have the same breath; humans have no advantage over animals. Everything is meaningless. All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return. Who knows if the human spirit rises upward and if the spirit of the animal goes down into the earth?” So I saw that there is nothing better for a person than to enjoy their work, because that is their lot. For who can bring them to see what will happen after them?

PRAYER OF ST. FRANCIS
Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace. Where there is hatred, Let me sow Love; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; Where there is sadness, joy; O ‘Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; To be understood as to understand; To be loved as to love; For it is in giving that we receive; It is in pardoning that we are pardoned; It is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I Love You, thank You, Praise You and give You all the Honor and Glory for this new day. I thank You and praise You for the lessons I can learn from the Old Testament characters and teachings of You that come through them. I humbly desire to walk in Your ways and to live in spirit and truth. Holy Spirit help me to abide in Jesus Christ, to love as He loved, and in all things to speak, “Thy will not mine be done.” Lord Jesus, I long to live by faith alone, to trust Your Word wholeheartedly, to be Yeilding to the leading and guidance of the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit help me to follow in the footsteps of the Lord Jesus Christ Who did only those things that were good and righteous in Your eyes. May I die to self and live for Christ, from this day forward in His Precious Name Amen.

When the time drew near for David to die, he gave a charge to Solomon his son. “I am about to go the way of all the earth,” he said. “So be strong, act like a man, and observe what the Lord your God requires: Walk in obedience to him, and keep his decrees and commands, his laws and regulations, as written in the Law of Moses. Do this so that you may prosper in all you do and wherever you go and that the Lord may keep his promise to me: ‘If your descendants watch how they live, and if they walk faithfully before me with all their heart and soul, you will never fail to have a successor on the throne of Israel.’

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory for this new day to live life with You. A special and awesome blessing comes to us today, from Him who is our Abba Father God. Give this day to Him, and there will be no fear today, because the day is given unto love. Where there is love, there is healing unconditionally in You Holy Spirit. Thank You, praise You and give You all the glory Lord Jesus. Amen.

But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory for this new day to breathe. Thank You for those men who cut down trees all night and fixed our electricity. Thank You that even in the dark Your light shines through. Thank You for the many blessings throughout the day today that are gifts from You. I thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Your Precious Name Jesus Amen.

For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God’s people, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, good morning. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory for this gift of life. Open my ears to hear Your still voice. Open my eyes to see more of You Lord Jesus as I pray about everything. Let everything I say and do be done for Your glory. Increase my knowledge of You and understanding of Your will for my life. Let my testimony of You be honorable to You. Let me be care full not to exchange the truth of Your Word for man’s developed traditions. I thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Your Precious Name Jesus Amen.
If I take part in the meal with thankfulness, why am I denounced because of something I thank God for? So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. Do not cause anyone to stumble, whether Jews, Greeks or the church of God, even as I try to please everyone in every way. For I am not seeking my own good but the good of many, so that they may be saved.
1 Corinthians 10:30-33 NIV
