“And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.” Matthew 8:26 KJV

This moment is not just about a storm on the water, it’s about the storm inside the disciples. Jesus does not scold them for waking Him; He addresses their fear. His presence was never absent, even while He slept. The calm comes after His question. Faith is not the absence of storms, but the trust that Christ is still Lord while they rage.

Lord Jesus, when fear rises and the waves feel close, remind us that You are already in the boat. Speak Your peace into our hearts, and teach us to trust You, even before the calm comes. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Precious Name Amen.
