Nehemiah 8:10 NIV: Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

“The joy of the Lord is my strength.

It isn’t loud joy. It isn’t jumping‑up‑and‑down joy. It’s the quiet, steady kind, the kind that shows up after the tears, when your spirit settles and you remember who holds you.

It’s the joy that:

Steadies your hands.

Fills your home with color and life.

Helps you create and plant.

Father God, thank You and praise You for the joy that gives me strength. Thank You for keeping my spirit steady today. As I prepare, grant me calm and clarity, and cover my home, family, and friends with Your protection. Let Your peace fills every room I’ve worked hard to restore and be present in all I do today. Let Your joy rise in me again, quiet, deep, and unshakable. Be my strength today and my confidence throughout this life. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
